The Founder

Alex Lin is the founder of FranklyCA.com. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant. Alex started his public accounting career in 2000 and has extensive auditing and accounting experiences in both public and privately held companies.The experiences gained from working in one of the BIG 4s and large corporations allow him to leverage the technology to build meaningful analytics and see financials from different angles, and provide valuable advice to help clients focus and grow.

In additional to tax planning, Alex is particularly interested in industry trending, data patterns as well as processes improvement, which are areas many business owners may overlook due to limited resources. He says, ” as limited resources force me to think about what is essential in order to help business owners.” He firmly believes ” they can do better.”

Alex is also actively involved in the local communities. He is the treasurer for Literacy Council York- Simcoe and Textile Museum of Canada. Prior to being designated a Chartered Accountant (CA), Alex obtained a Master of Business and Administration with a specialization in Finance at the University of Ottawa.
